City
tour with visits
As
Stockholm is built on 14 islands it is no wonder that water has
dominated the life of the city for centuries. During this tour

and point out attractions and shopping streets. Visit
the City Hall, a masterpiece of 20th century architecture
and the site of the Nobel Prize festivities each year.
Svenskt
Tenn is one of the most famous design companies in Sweden. It is
strongly marked by its history, especially by the heritage of its
founder Estrid Ericson and the designer Josef Frank. Together
they have created the foundation for Svensk Tenn's philosophy of
furnishing.
Kosta Boda/ Orrefors
On
Birger Jarlsgatan you find the Design-Shop which sells the amazing
products of Kosta Boda and Orrefors, makers of famous Swedish glass.
Östermalmshallen
Saluhallen, at
Östermalmstorg, is Stockholms oldest market hall. It was built in
1888 and is 28 metres high. Here you find everything you

Drottningholm
Palace
Drottningholm Palace is situated 20 minutes
outside the city center and is the present home of the Royal Family.
The history of the Palace and the Theatre is as fascinating as the
building and grounds are beautiful. Built in 1581 by the King of
Sweden, who finally christened the mansion Drottningholm (the Queens
Island). The theatre is from 1754 and is the oldest theatre in Europe
to be still staging performances.

Full day excursion on the archipelago.
Experience
one of the most astonishing environments in Sweden, the Stockholm
archipelago! With its 24 000 islands, the archipelago is a unique
place to visit all year round. On some islands, there are
picturesque cafés, restaurants, hotels and farms, while
other islands are totally deserted.
After
a cruise of three hours that
includes coffee and pastry on board, we reach Sandhamn. Here we can
stroll around the narrow streets in the small village, have a
look at the boats in the harbour or visit the boutiques and cafés. Lunch
will be served in one of the island's excellent restaurants.
For
those who wish to have a bit of an adventure, the trip from the
city to Sandhamn
will be by RIB Boat which raches speeds of up to 50 knots.
Passengers will be quipped with suitable head to foot waterproof
clothing.
This
is a very exclusive tour of the archipelago and something out
of the ordinary.
