Kelsey Group's Conference on Future of the Yellow Pages
The Kelsey Group expects more than 400 senior executives from the global Yellow Pages community to attend its Directory Driven Commerce 2005 Conference (DDC2005) on September 27-29, 2005 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center, Denver, Colorado.
The Yellow Pages industry is coming under fire from a variety of competitors. Still, it is the most profitable advertising medium in the world, with some segments experiencing robust growth and ongoing investment activity suggesting positive future prospects. DDC2005 will consider the question, 'What is the future of the Yellow Pages.' The answer will encompass a range of industry trends, technological innovations and other market influences, including: local search and Internet Yellow Pages, companion directories, user-facing advertising, brand building, enhanced content and improving the sales force.
Kelsey Group analysts will present data from the latest wave of the Local Commerce MonitorSM, a tracking study conducted jointly by The Kelsey Group and ConStat, Inc. Since the first wave was conducted in 1999, LCM has become a key industry barometer of local advertiser behavior. The study asks local businesses how they invest in technology to promote and manage their businesses, how they allocate their media budgets, and what their expectations are for future activities to attract customers.
To register for DDC2005, contact The Kelsey Group by phone at (609) 921-7200 Ext. 10, or register online at www.kelseygroup.com/ddc2005/.
