DPA Annual Conference: 26/27 June 2003
With the overall theme "competitiveness - gaining the edge",
the British Directory and Database Publishers Association, DPA, will be holding its annual conference in the Grand Hotel, Brighton, on 26th June 2003, followed by a golf day on 27th.
The Association has secured as guest speaker Stephen Timms MP, who is the Minister of State at the Department of Trade and Industry, with responsibility for e-commerce, communications and the information industries. Before entering Parliament, Mr Timms had a 15-year career in computing and telecommunications.
The DPA conference day will have an entirely NEW LOOK, offering a rich choice of workshop sessions, from which each participant can construct his own tailor-made programme. There are sessions designed for senior management as well as for those working in editorial, production, sales, IT and business development departments. Participants must, however, book the individual workshops in advance.
